The G Perico/Freddie Gibbs show was good, but a little strange.

The crowd did not know G Perico at all. There was literally like one dude that was rapping along and everyone else was clueless. He tried to engage the crowd but it just wasn't happening. At one point he invited all the ladies to come on stage and literally 2 girls got up there. He asked them to dance with him to the next track and immediately one of the girls left the stage, leaving one poor, completely out of her element, white girl on stage.

During Gibbs' set, he gets to "Death Row" and brings G Perico out on stage. G Perico just cripped walked throughout the entire song, never rapping a single word. The track played, his verse came on, and he just crip walked. Just seemed like a waste for him to be there and come out on stage during that track and not rap at all.

Gibbs killed it though... and G Perico was good too. Just a little strange.

 

Must be hard to share a stage with Gibbs tbh, by far the best live rapper I've seen

Agreed. I've seen him twice and Gibbs is a fantastic live rapper.

G Perico's music is more laid back and probably better suited for riding/smoking than getting crunk in the club.

 

G Perico isn't on Death Row though... that's 03 Greedo
