Anybody else check out the Kamaiyah tape? It's a little too samey but overall pretty solid
yesterday marked ten years of TI's King btw
Haven't listened to that album in years, but I remember Front Back and Top Down being jams.
One of the first hip-hop things I liked. No idea how or why it was a starting point for sixth grade me. It was just catchy and I used to love the Just Blaze song with the guitar/band playing lol ("You Know Who")
King is a classic. "What you know" is one of my favorite songs of all time. I never react to that song with anything short of going totally berserk
just found out about this SD tape from last year, came out in august. chief keef/young chop affiliate, a bit like if keef was marginally more intelligble and not totally fucked up every time he stepped in the booth SD - Just The Beginning | Download & Listen [New Mixtape]
new durk tape out may 1st, new track prod by c sick:
New Rising feature on Boogie. Haven't listened to his old stuff but I've been bumping Catching Feelings and Out The Way hard Boogie: A Rapper of Consequence | Pitchfork
Boogie's "The Reach" is great. I highly recommend it.
New Mick Jenkins.
I'm not totally sold on Mick, but I love his beat selection and flow.
heard Royce da 5'9" put out a new tape, anyone listen?
pretty excited to listen to that Kamaiyah tape though. "How Does it Feel" is pretty sweet.
No, but that Dead President Heads track is sweet
Ohhhh exciting, psyched to d/l
I'm behind on good hip-hop this year. I've still been playing Future's new album.
Also, there's this:
Action Bronson Removed from Concert Lineup, Apologizes in Open Letter | Rolling Stone
Sounds very PR-y but nice to see him finally address this still
That Big Sean/Jhene Aiko collaboration is about as boring as you'd expect it to be. Listen to brckhmptn.com
Kevin Gates Hilariously Sings Blink 182, Adele And More
This is amazing
I know i'm a little late, but that Kodak Black tape is pretty great.
True. He seems to be making a step in making himself a better person. And fair play to him for it.
As for his fans commenting under his FB post/open letter? Jesus. They're not the brightest bunch, lets just say that.
Listen to Tunji Ige's New Project, 'Missed Calls'
tate kobang tape ayyy
That's exciting. Bank Rolls is amazing
I checked this out this morning & really enjoyed it. It's like A Tribe Called Future, which is awesome.
