Yeah, they said he bled out so maybe that artery in his leg got cut/punctured when running.

 

One of the most under appreciated hip hop albums ever IMO

 

Great album

 

So this Will album isn’t very long and it has skits. It’s also not great. He sounds great, he could always rap and still can, and he seems to have an urge to share, which is good, but most of these songs just aren’t it at all. I sort like maybe 3-4 songs, but they are nowhere near most of his catalogue either. He needed a strong executive producer or A&R or whatever.

 

FWIW this is apparently the first of a trilogy of albums that he is dropping this year

Yeah I know. I have thought that is odd, but given that there is only an EP worth of actual songs on this album, it’s starting to make more sense lol

 

Who asked for not one, but three, Will Smith albums in 2025?

I in fact did not ask for 3, I can barely keep up with artists that release more than one album in 4 years

 

I wouldn’t be surprised if the “person” behind this is the the spirit he talks to while on Ayahuasca lol the last chapter of his book is wild I tell you

 

This is pretty interesting, very Frank Ocean adjacent honestly, with the obvious brockhampton connection in the back of my head as well. I think aside from this I only know his Kevin Abstract collab, should I check out more or wait for the next album?

Also, finally listened to the Planet Giza EPs, you were right, very cool
