I still think Limbo is underrated

I just listened to the (funny) Fat Joe episode of the Carmelo Anthony podcast and apparently he put out an album in December?

I'm gonna listen to it soon. That mixtape from a couple of years ago that got pulled because of samples was great.

 

Good album, that. They put out a new album a couple of weeks back that’s quite good too

 

They had a good one less recently but still recently too, with Pete Rock I believe, don’t quite remember the details

I’ll find out tomorrow haha. Nothing I’ve heard from Carti has interested me, but always give his stuff a go as so many people swear by him.

 

Carti dropping the album on the last day before he could probably get sued if he didn’t release any pre orders is such a Carti thing.

clipping. album is great, maybe their best, despite (or aided by?) the presence of one song that gives me distinct flynt flossy vibes.

 

New Clipping. is really fucking good. Wasn’t sure about the faster tempo of some of the songs they had released beforehand, but it sounds so good as part of the whole album.

Really digging the techno vibe throughout too

 

it took a bit for it to set in (much less drop) but I’m not even halfway through this album yet and it’s already way better than Whole Lotta Red

 

It’s kinda insane how much of a step down from Whole Lotta Red this is
