Maybe he was feeding fake info but if he was he did a bad job orchestrating the narrative with it. He never seemed ready, he was just postin

I am listening now. I had to stop for moment when Drake did the " you're obsessed with pedophiles because you got molested and have trauma about it " line as a diss

Seriously fuck this guy. Nearly as bad as the "free the slaves" stuff

I actually can believe that the daughter thing was fake tbh. Not even Drake would be that stupid to hide ANOTHER child in a beef

But yeah this response was weak, basically just doubling down on the wifebeater/Dave Free stuff (which I do think Kendrick needs to address with one more song) and talks WAY too much about how he's not a pedophile. The shit about Kendrick being molested is bad too, especially because that's not even what Kendrick said on the song

Also sounds like he's trying to end this now with how he ends the song. I think Kendrick needs to respond one more time and talk about those loose threads and then that can be it

What an oddly fatigued response. Dude sounds exhausted and out of ideas

That " you talking about A-Minor, but your fans need to be B-Sharp and ask why you left D-Flat D-Major" was the wackest rebuttal to one of the all time funniest rap battle lines imaginable

    Tupac AI voice - mistake
The " Kendrick out here trying to free the slaves " line - mistake
The " you're just mad because you got molested as a kid " line - mistake
The " I'm way too famous to be a pedophile and get away with it " line - mistake

It cannot be stressed enough how dogshit Drake's instincts for this are

That’s a result of never having the high ground from the start. Responding against Kendrick and 6+ others is too much for anyone especially when you’re already memed on to begin with. This was an uphill battle for Drake where he took all kinds of shots. Some stuck, some bounced back and hit him in the face.

Yeah honestly, this song is Drake's first of this whole beef that I haven't been impressed with. Kendrick is winning but it's not by a longshot imo

Does it feel like all these Kendrick songs were ready to go already or did he actually respond to Family Matters for example? Just wondering, I’m not in a state to listen to all this

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

there's some lines that directly address Family Matters for sure like he responds to the free the slaves jab

I will give Drake credit the " you call me a predator but you act like you pay for R.Kelly's commissary " line near the end of the track was cold.

It’s a perfect day for letting go... Supporter

Yeah there are def too many lines about how he’s not a pedo, but I will say he sounds very confident. Granted the grain of salt being that Kendrick is calling him a master manipulator and he’s an actor, so who knows but it sounded pretty convincing

    The spiciest meme

The dude who wrote this is kinda hypocritical too because just last week when Euphoria dropped he said some shit like "it's good but it doesn't give enough juice" and a little before that made a whole "Power Ranking" of everyone involved in the beef. Which sure was before things turned this bitter and dark but my dude as a Pitchfork writer still played a part in all of this

That being said, a lot of valid points on here as well

I don’t agree with everything he’s said or written but this is a good article

  21. he's right that the overall vibe is very grim but i think it's worth it to get drake outta here

Honestly that article’s not bad. Better than the Rolling Stone one written by a guy who, a week prior, had been tweeting repeatedly about how Drake’s sketchy behavior was a stretch lol

Yeah that article has a couple good points but is largely just a huge downer that tries to moralize this entire thing which is not why any of us are here. At least I’m not. It’s entertainment, it’s bars, it’s beats, that’s all it is for any of us. Yeah it might be real for the women they’re accusing each other of abusing and preying on and that’s a sad thought, but should I feel bad for getting swept in the entertainment and comedy of it? In my opinion, no not at all, that’s not my job or what I’m here for. I knew drake was a horrible person. I knew Kendrick had some contradictory actions surrounding him. Both of them already told us these things themselves. So them going after each other over stuff anyone paying attention pretty much already figured out is just spectacle to me. Idk. Some of it’s grim but I’m not gonna act above it all.
