Roc Marci and Premier with the project of the day. Roc on form and Premier making beats specially for him yet still have that Premo style. Really good stuff.

 

think GDLU is pushing into my top 3 this year. pretty great year so far

 

I know I said it for the clipse album but also this feature on the JID album is crazy. Malice has been so good that I hope he drops an album this year or at least early next year. He’s just got the notion right now.

 

his pen game has been pretty flawless

 

I can't get on with JID. He has that annoying voice that some rappers have that I just can't get on with. Sorta high pitched, like Lil Wayne. Not saying they sound alike, just that they both have an annoying quality to their voice that I can't put my finger on. OK for a feature or two, but can't do a whole album.

Clearly talented, but not for me.

 

unfortunate take as both him and Wayne are among the best at what they do

 

Drake has it too, come to think of it. But he's also terrible in every way possible.
