Yeah, this feels like one of those infinitely repeatable albums. Think I just found my album of the summer, and it seems like a must listen.
Jim Legxacy easily one of my favorite artists this decade fr. Perfect genre mashing but not like disorienting just blending together seamlessly into a really nice smoothie
Was surprised at the lack of response when I posted that Jim Legxacy record in the old thread lol, it’s so good. Glad it was brought up again, it deserves the ears. The first tape was in my top of 2023 and this one is even better
my old head coworker discovered Billy Woods off watching dead end hip hop best of 2025 so far and he just told me he was so confused but he ended up like the project. im about to put him on to a bunch of stuff.
the albums I showed him to check out were: RAP Ferreira - Outstanding Understanding MIKE & Tony Seltzer - Pinball II Ka - The Thief Next To Jesus Armand Hammer - Haram Open Mike Eagle - Neighborshood Gods Unlimited
Sure, it’s only been less than 2 weeks since the last Boldy album (I think, maybe 3 weeks?), about time we had another one. A ludicrous wait.
Tyler show was crazy, they set up a super small stage, put on the record, and he literally was in the crowd dancing and then did a few songs live as well. He ran through the album once and then was like "fuck it we're running it again until they kick us out".
Freddie Gibbs and the Alchemist - Alfredo 2 (July 24th, 2025) • forum.chorus.fm unrelated: I love Pinata, but haven't listened to anything before it or anything between Pinata and Freddie/Fetti. Anything there worth going back to?
