oh yeah, that one is solid. I also like some songs off Watching Movies and Swimming, but tbh he's never delivered a performance that genuinely wow'ed me.
Swimming is Mac's best work, but he's always had a special shine to him, even in the early frat-rap stuff.
Swimming is the only full album I love from him, but he's got a lot of great stuff mixed within all his work.
A very cool band called peelingflesh samples dj screw in their new album and so now it has me back on dj screw and this is such a good song
nobody said Circles in the Mac discussion, wild. his masterpiece and one of the most emotional albums I've ever heard I think. Faces is right behind it though
I haven't listened to Circles since the year it came out. Swimming, Watching Movies... and The Divine Feminine are his masterpieces, Swimming especially.
listening to Swimming without Circles is like listening to half of a double album and giving up, just a bizarre way to engage with that project also I'm hesitant to say it in this thread with apparently all its fans clustered together but Divine Feminine... isn't good
