Has anyone been more prolific in their retirement than Jay-z though? 5 full lenghts and 3 full length collab albums since his retirement, impressive!!

Blast from the past a little, but the new Raury album has some cool moments. His last album was pretty terrible, but this has some cool stuff. Very laid back kinda stuff

Haven't checked it out yet but excited that he's back to hip-hop. I respect him for totally bucking the major label and going independent and making folk music just when he was blowing up though

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

new Lupe is interesting, a bit all over the place in a good way. Kiosk is absolutely terrible but Ms Mural is fire

This sounds like an Encore leftover, I wonder where this comes from now

Really enjoyed the Lupe album but I didn't really like Kiosk either.

Overall, I would probably rank the album around the same level of Tetsuo & Youth or The Cool, but not quite Food & Liquor or DROGAS WAVE.

I'd definitely have it above The Cool, which never did much for me but yeah around the same level as T&Y. he's an artist with a hard top tier to break into lol

But I also think he probably has had the most disappointing career since Xzibit

You guys need to listen to DROGAS WAVE again. It’s incredible.

Wave is absolutely my favourite and easily one of my favourites of the past few years. Food & Liquor obviously is a classic-tier debut although it has a couple songs I could live without

but anyway the new one is really good! second verse on Ms. Mural left me in awe, Lupe at his absolute best
