I don't know, a 2.9 seems too high for Jack Harlow.

 

I say it's not HarLOW enough.

 

Never listened to IDK, so I put on this Kaytranada ep. He sounds so much like Kanye in voice and style to me.

 

That was my first reaction too.

 

listen to the album right before this one, USEE4YOURSELF, it's really good and completely hits that "old Kanye" style while still making it his own.

Especially this song, it's SO Kanye how he sings the pussy game lyrics

 

YGTUT dropping a new project on June 9th:

 

A shame that that’s the best song on the album. It’s fantastic and really shows a lot of promise but most of everything else I’ve heard from him hasn’t hit the same.

 

I think most of the album is pretty good, but I do agree that it shows more promise than result, if that makes sense. I'm definitely keeping an eye/ear on him. New EP is pretty cool.

 

this just a random thought but for a long time I always thought Civilia Demo was better than The Sun’s Tirade but ever since seeing Isaiah live and him performing the songs off TST. It got me checking out the album again and man it’s so so good. It has me reconsidering my rankings but also that song with Kendrick is crazy good.

 

The best IDK album is IWASVERYBAD imo, if you guys haven't heard that one definitely check it out

I actually love how he puts together projects though, he clearly really cares about the art of creating a cohesive album experience. Always follows a set theme for his entire projects and really cool song transitions

 

It’s funny that people are nostalgic for old Kanye rapping because back when old Kanye was the only Kanye, the narrative was like “he’s a mediocre to bad rapper but the music and lyrics are great”

 

For the record I wasn’t blown away or anything, that’s just who he sounded like to me.
