I’d kill for another Quasimoto album. I’d kill for another Madlib jazz album under one of his many many aliases too tbh.

I think the two producer rapper albums i really want that will never come are the best Quasimoto one and then Flying Lotus with that Captain Murphy album that we all know is never coming.

Just crazy how 5-6 years ago Future, Young Thug and Kanye were my three favorite “mainstream” rappers and now I just don’t care/hate what they stand for. With Future it’s just more that I’m bored with his recent outputs. Kanye and YT are both pieces of shit.

I did not realize Killer Mike had an appearance in Season 4 of Ozark. It's probably like a 60 second scene, but I'm hyped.

New music Friday. Got a shit load to listen to. Stuck on Bronson first and now all I want to do is listen to him all day. Standard.

The Drake song on this Future joint is the first one that made me pause and check the name. Really great beat

    EDIT:
Wait For U that is, didn't realize that dork was on 2 tracks

It’s been diminishing returns for me since Purple Reign. Each record since I’ll say “this is fine” and never listen again.

ATL Jacob's production on this Future tape has some really high points on it. Holy Ghost might be the standout track so far for me. The production is awesome and like the pocket Future gets on that beat. Puffin on Zootiez is another standout for me as well though that is a non ATL Jacob beat.

Can anyone recommend me some aggressive and heavy hip-hop but without trap production? I like aggressive music and need more of it, especially since I'm having lots of insomnia and need to be awake due to life stuff, but so many of these 808s and trap drums are so fucking predictable it makes me sleepier, but without actually getting the luxury of sleep.

Future album is okay but I've never really been able to stick with him for a full album. I get it, I've just never really been able to connect with any of his stuff beyond the odd single or feature.

Vince Staples still my favorite rap album of the year. I loved the Pusha T but a week later I still find myself replaying Ramona Park Broke My Heart instead. Kendrick's the only one I could see taking over that #1 spot for me.

Isn't DMX homophobic? That's what I heard and as someone queer I'd rather not deal with that. If I am misinformed though let me know and I'd be happy to check him out.

Yeah I’d stay away from DMX then.

Try Public Enemy, especially earlier albums.
