I've never been a big Pusha fan and this doesn't really do anything to change that.

Interested to see what the new redveil is like.

just a random thing but I was watching coach carter with some family members and I was realizing how good the soundtrack is. It’s a well done album on the music side. A bunch of hits.

  3. I love the Push album lol it's a Push album for sure but most of the beats go ridiculously hard

This is sounding pretty great. Features Jeff Rosenstock and Of Montreal too, so will probably interest a few Chorus members

I've always liked Pusha T in small doses. I'm 8 songs in so far and it's decent.

We can talk about new albums or we can just keep talking about billy woods lol. Unbelievable album. Think it will be an all-time classic for me.

That and Earl are so far ahead of everything else released this year IMO. Benny and The Cool Kids first one are next, but there's a big gap between.

Not as big of a fan of Conway's album? I really liked that one too.

I’m actually writing down albums I enjoyed so far right now, otherwise I’ll forget

Never been as big on Conway as I am on Benny and Gunn. I like him, I'll just turn to the other two if I fancy something from Griselda.

If it's Griselda affiliated though, i'll turn to Mach and Boldy before any of the main three.

I’m not in the mood for weird shit at the moment, I’ve mostly been feeling regular-ass rap records, there’s been several good ones of those

Listened to Tana Talk 4 again today. If you told me before listening that J. Cole would have one of the best verses on this record I would assume you were smoking dust. Why can’t he go this hard on his solo projects?

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

new Billy is amazing so far. thought he was Earl on track 2 for a hot second lmao

You might like his latest album The Off-Season if you haven't heard it yet

Yeah, The Off-Season is the only J. Cole album I like. So previous non J. Cole fans may be into it.

I’ve listened to it, and I do enjoy it enough. None of his actual albums are outright *bad* to me, just mostly unmemorable.

I know this is a non-issue for most people but the trend of titling songs and albums in all caps is very annoying to me lol

I saw Griselda live yesterday at Coachella and it was really cool how they weaved through the main three’s music but also incorporated all the other side members like Armani and Boldy and Steve Cooks.

It was also nice to hear them rapping almost all of the lyrics and not using the backtrack so yeah that was fun.

my other thought is are the essentials for mf doom: the mouse and the mask, operation doomsday, mm… food, and madvillany?

i see he has a few other albums but I feel like those are the only ones talked about.

I’ve already checked out operation doomsday, Madvillain and the mouse and the mask.

  25. Def check out Mm...Food. Probably my favorite. "One Beer Left" beat is unreal.
