Droog and Mach-Hommy are two artists that should be right up my alley, but I have a really hard time getting into a super lyrical artist for the first time without reading along to their lyrics (I know, bad hip-hop fan) and the fact that they don't let their lyrics be shown anywhere makes it super hard for me to get into them

Yeah, check out the Genius pages for their music. Either not there at all or it just says something like "DMCA blocked" instead of showing lyrics. It even does it for their verses on features, all of the other lyrics will show up but theirs are blank

I’m honestly surprised they are announcing tours. Every day you hear about a cancellation or postponement.

 

Yeah, the same cycle over and over again for sure. I would definitely take safety and lockdown over shows and “getting back to normal” but I’ve kinda come to the conclusion that as long as I’m up to date with vaccinations, masking the whole time, and distancing for at least a week afterward that I’m not gonna let a bunch of horse paste eaters take away my 30s

 

I'll take the Zero risk option for $1000 please. You can be vaccinated, boosted and masked and still get Covid. I work in healthcare and my unit alone has 5 people out who in the past week tested positive.

 

I spend time with my mom more or less everyday who’s in her 70s so I have no other options but to be as strict as I can. Sadly it appears that Omicron is borderline inescapable and I still at least have to go to the dentist and shit.

 

Oh yeah for sure, definitely not under the impression I’m invincible. Ask even some of my closest friends and they’ll tell you they haven’t seen me in two years haha. The ones that have gotta show me a negative test first. I still haven’t seen my family for Christmas because my girlfriend has had covid positive co-workers for two weeks in a row and we live together. But at this point the virus isn’t going anywhere and my age definitely is — if I can take a risk for myself to do something that brings me joy without putting my loved ones at risk for it then I need to start doing that cause man shit is bleak rn
