    hey you lil piss baby

This year's results are narrowed down from a total of 52 albums across 13 lists.

Records that just missed the cut / "honourable mentions":

Genesis Owusu - Smiling With No Teeth (21 pts., 3 votes)
McKinley Dixon - For My Mama And Anyone Who Look Like Her (20 pts., 4 votes)
Tyler, the Creator - Call Me If You Get Lost (20 pts., 4 votes)
Moor Mother - Black Encyclopedia of the Air (20 pts., 3 votes)

    10. MIKE - Disco! (21 pts., 4 votes)
    9. Backxwash - I Lie Here Buried with My Rings and My Dresses (24 pts., 4 votes)
    8. R.A.P. Ferreira - Bob's Son (25 pts., 3 votes)
    7. Boldy James & The Alchemist - Bo Jackson (26 pts., 5 votes)
    6. Wiki - Half God (34 pts., 5 votes)
    5. Isaiah Rashad - The House is Burning (36 pts., 6 votes)
    4. Little Simz - Sometimes I Might Be Introvert (38 pts., 4 votes)
    3. Vince Staples - Vince Staples (44 pts., 6 lists)
    2. Mach-Hommy - Pray for Haiti (58 pts., 8 votes)
    1. Armand Hammer & The Alchemist - Haram (59 pts., 10 votes)

Interestingly, the last few lists really shook the results up this year. Mach-Hommy was sitting at number 1 with a clear lead for most of the tallying until the Armand Hammer record inched in at the end. Isaiah Rashad was nowhere even near the top 10 and then ended at number 5. Wiki was in a pretty dominant position (a close number 2 after Mach-Hommy) until he only factored in an additional 2 points among the last six lists. R.A.P. Ferreira's other album had the most votes for a record that didn't make the final cut (4 votes, 13 pts.)

    Thanks for playing, folks.
