The IDK album is definitely one of my favorite albums of the year so far. He does a really good job at making his albums super cohesive and getting their specific themes across, this album almost feels like the end of a trilogy after his first two

 

Listening to Lil Kim’s debut album. It’s so good and obviously incredibly influential, and she’s clearly a master at it.

this is just a random thought but I’m sad I didn’t like Limbo as much as I hoped I would. Onepointfive is an essential album for me and it has a ton of replay while limbo hasn’t really hit the same way.

I am still excited for anything Amine though.

 

I'm going through Common's catalogue again since he just dropped a new album. Electric Circus is an underrated album

Be is still his masterpiece though

 

Common is one of the most consistent album artists in rap music

I was obsessed with that Reks album when it came out. So many good producers and features.

 

Same. My anticipation was crazy too after his verses on Statik records.

 

I’m not even sure how I even came across it. Just remember putting it on and thinking “yep, this is my shit”

Common is incredibly consistent. Even when he's not at the top of his game, he's still releasing quality music. Some great stuff on this year's and last year's album
