The Kanye album is getting a LOT of hype. I doubt it actually comes out this week but I can't stop myself from being kind of excited no matter how hard I try

 

As long as the Kanye album has it's own thread (which of course it will) and all the talk of it stays out of here, i'll be happy.

 

I think Kanye can only be saved by losing his commercial relevance. Like, if he becomes a "legacy act" that makes a solid living off of touring Europe and releasing throwback albums like a lot of Golden Era or West Coast semi-underground rappers.

I find the animation they’ve been using for his posthumous videos genuinely offensive, this is sure to be an extension of that

I find it so crazy to see how much support and hype Kanye has right now for Donda.

Was he one of my all time favorites? Yes. Did the last few years of his actions completely change my views and leave a bad taste in my mouth? YES.

I also personally think the last god worship album was boring and his worst release. The teasers felt like it’ll just be more of the same and he’ll get the sympathy card for being a Jesus preacher and talking about being alone. Really sad. I will never forget the MAGA Ye shit.

There's a lot of speculation but it seems like this Lupe and Royce beef started playful/friendly but got heated for real now. Both have dropped diss tracks now

And Lupe fucking DESTROYS him. Lupe is one of the best rappers of all time and I'm tired of people acting like he's not

I consider both Lupe and Royce to be two of the best. Always have.

Also I've legitimately been confused about what's been going on between the two for the past several weeks. I still don't think it's that serious and they've still been doing their pod together - despite bickering about who's better for the past several weeks. But whatever has been going on is kind of weird.
