Also, Holla Holla and the track he's on on the Belly soundtrack are the only good things Ja Rule has ever done. I wont be taking questions. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

If you like Holla Holla there are like two Ja Rule albums that sound like that lol

Wiz Khalifa is highly uninteresting now but there was a definite time and a place for Kush and OJ and Rolling Papers at least... And maybe a tape or two he did with Curren$y

Wiz had a few tracks on Burn After Rolling that were solid, mostly because of samples, but I’ve never gotten the hype

I think it’s mostly just that if you are a certain age Wiz, Cole and Kendrick were like your Snoop, Nas and Pac or whatever lol

    Trusted

He was huge for college freshman who had the knee high socks/slides/b-ball shorts/lanyard combo

Wiz hit his stride pretty much my four years of high school (2009-2013) so everyone my age was right in the heart of it. Absolutely has cooled off since, but it felt liked he ruled the world back in those days.

Also saw him in an amphitheater tour in summer 2019 and he sold 19,000 tickets. Blew my mind how many high school kids were there.

The only wiz song I’ve liked is that Oreo one.

It was definitely a time and place situation with him. Growing up on the outskirts of Pittsburgh meant Wiz and Mac being on constant rotation

I don't really listen to anything from Wiz besides Kush and OJ which still bumps. Maybe I should at least check out Rolling Papers.

I remember his first single, before he reinvented himself and became the Wiz people love lol

That era where the big three were Wiz, Mac, Odd Future. Good times ha

Possibly already discussed and I missed it. But anybody checked out this Genesis Owusu album? Pretty good stuff.

I like Young, Wild and Free. That's all I have to say about Wiz

Outside of Black and Yellow, I don't think I could name a Wiz song.

EDIT: See you Again and Young, Wild & Free I know too, however, couldn't think of them until I looked them up and honestly only really recognized the choruses in those songs.

I used to take patient calls for a doctor's office and I'd always have to return calls from this one 80 year old guy and his callback tone was Young, Wild and Free. Always gave me a nice chuckle.
