If I'm interpreting this post right, I'm really glad to see I'm not the only one that uses the Spotify search history as a way to list artists you want to check out lol

I have a list in my notes app of about 200 artists I need to listen to. Every day, it goes down two or three and then two or three get added. It will go on forever haha

I have a Spotify playlist dedicated to artists, songs or albums I want to remember

I just keep a single playlist to add anything and everything I want to listen to in it

Another classic. In an 18 month period, Madlib put out that, Madvillainy, the second Quas album and the underrated broken beat album he did as DJ Rels. And that's not including the jazz albums he made under various aliases in that time too. He was untouchable.

Whilst that period will never be matched, these past two years, he's come pretty close to matching it. Bandana, The Professionals, Jahari Massamba Unit and his solo album on Friday.

Love this Packed Rich beat tape that dropped on Ilian Tape. Old heads of the thread may apply.

I like it. Durk has been growing on me recently. Top is also a good song

Unsurprisingly I think it's terrible. Vocal effects are trash, the "chorus" if you can call it that is fucking stupid. The beat is fine I guess, that's all I got for ya

Maybe it was already discussed in here and I missed it, but the new Pharoahe Monch is pretty disappointing, especially after such a long amount of time since his last album. Pretty much a rock album.

Yeah, that Pharoahe Monch album wasn’t that great. He was inching towards that sound on his last album too and wasn’t keen on that either.

Speaking of Pharoahe Monch, I’m pretty sure a lot of people here have never listened to Organized Konfusion, so that’s a big recommendation

Especially Stress: The Extinction Agenda. A really fucking good album. It’s not on streaming unfortunately, but worth searching for.

  25. I was actually just cleaning up an old hard drive and said goodbye to PTSD right before I clicked on this thread haha. Can't say I've cared for a thing he's done since probably Desire
