    Aquemini and Black Star both fall in my top rap albums of all time. I actually don't think I've ever heard that Tribe record TBH.

    The Love Movement is seriously underrated, definitely give it a listen. A lot of early Dilla productions on there too.

    these Carter V deluxe edition tracks are much better than expected, and I liked a fair amount of that album as-is. If you took the maybe.... 12-14 best tracks from the whole thing, it coulda been a modern classic

    There is a German rapper that was once named Reason who had to change his name (he is now successful under Jalil) because the company behind the music production software Reason sued him. I wonder why that hasn’t happened to this Reason.

    Another new album from Westside Gunn and an instrumental project from The Alchemist too out today. Not listened to the Gunn album yet, but the Alchemist tape is standardly great. Easily the producer of the year.

    had a similar reaction to Savage Mode 2 as I do to a lot of this year's hip-hop albums

    bumps while it's on, but nothing memorable/leaves little desire to ever play it again
