Lupe and Cudi have had beef before this. I remember Lupe calling him out a while ago. Can't remember why.

 

It's impossible to keep up with the things Lupe is rambling about any given day

 

Oh yeah I know that's why it's clear he's talking about cudi being the one who deserved it.


Seems to me lupe should be more concerned with delivering the three albums he promised this year

 

He already said they arent coming lol

Lupe and Cudi have had problems for a long time

I think I remember him saying that Lupe was one of the only hip-hop artists to support Cudi when he first started out and always considered him a friend, but then Cudi suddenly turned against him. Also, when Lupe was doing the thing where he'd make a personalized verse for fans for $500 (which never actually ended up happening), Cudi called him a thief or something (this is when he called him Poope Fiasco on Twitter lol).

Of course this is all just from Lupe's' accounts, but even though I love his music, Cudi seems like a dick a lot of the time (though to be fair Lupe is a massive troll almost all the time).

Still very happy for Cudi getting the help he needs, and it's also awesome to see so many people actually supporting him in recent years

 

All this Twitter/Instagram beef shit is so corny. If I'd be managing these rappers I'd take away their social media. I can't even take some artists I used to love seriously anymore, like Game for example. Some make good use of, but not many.

 

If I only really like Rocky, is anything on the A$AP Mob album worth me checking out?

Listening to all of Curren$y's output is not worth it. There's so much and it's not all good. Just get Pilot Talk 1 and 2 and call it a day imo.

 

This. The first two Pilot Talks are really great... but I'd also include Weekend At Bernies and The Stoned Immaculate if you're looking to go further.

 

Anyone that's listened to Cozy Tapes, what the sample/sound in Put That on My Set? I don't know how to describe it but I know for sure I've heard it in another song.

I like what I heard of the DJ Rude One album, which Pitchfork reviewed for some reason.
