I listened to section 80 the other day and completely forgot how bad some of the hooks are lol

 

Carries through on all of his albums tbh

 

I know this is a hot take but I still can't get into XXX, even though I really like his 3 albums after it

 

Best of 2011 is Angel’s Exodus anyway

 

I'm with you, XXX is cool but I am a bigger fan of where he has gone since then. XXX has too many obnoxious moments, for lack of better word

 

All of Danny's albums are great, so it's tough, but Atrocity Exhibition is my favorite.

I also personally like Section 80 more than any other Kendrick record, but can see how GKMC and TPAB were more complete thoughtout projects.

Guess I'm the only one looking forward to this (outside of it being 21 tracks long) - I've actually been revisiting a lot of Future lately and his stuff with Esco (Purple Reign, amongst others) is some of my favorites.

I have not been excited for new Future since 2017 and I used to be big into him. He refuses to mature, as an artist and evidently in his personal life too, and his whole thing is just tired now. We get it bro, you're a monster, like whatever...

 

Yeah man I’m pumped that this is executive produced by Esco, feel like they haven’t worked together closely in a long time

 

Yeah Future is not interesting to me anymore. Like I’m sure there will be some fire on his new album, but he just needs to take a break. Though FUTURE/HENDRXX was great

 

I think last year was the first where all his stuff really felt like a miss for me. 2018 wasn’t especially strong either but BM2 is kinda underrated. The singles this year have been good, especially the near Drake-less remix of “Life is Good”, but I dunno if ha can carry a whole project for me anymore. Hope it at least has more high points than The WIZRD.

 

The Wizrd has some absolute bangers. I’d rank it fairly low in his discography but I still really love it.

 

Hndrxxx felt like the last time future tried to experiment/keep it fresh, ever since then he’s been coasting real hard on the sound he’s most comfortable with. Still dig the odd single every so often

I like a handful of Nelly songs, but I'm a much bigger Luda fan. Hoping Nelly can sway my opinion a little. Looking forward to this.
