Testing is easily my favorite. Something about it just connects with me

    Denzel's discography > Rocky's discography for me.

Plus Denzel is touring with Turnstile and Trash Talk so bonus points.

    hey you lil piss baby

The Young Nudy & Pi'erre Bourne record is very good. One of the better first listens I've had with a hip hop project this year.

  4. Per the Logic talk earlier, he's dropping an album on Friday. I was not a huge fan of Supermarket, but I'm guessing I'll like this more.

I love every single Rocky album, he's probably one of my favorite rappers going today. ALLA is my favorite but TESTING is also amazing

Rocky did put out one of the best crew joints in the past 10 years (Yelawolf aside) in 1Train, so i'll always occasionally come back to him.

Yelawolf's verse is better than Action Bronson's verse on that song lol

  8. PauLo

    43% Burnt

I think we'll have to respectfully disagree there haha. Although I do remember Bronson being pissed when it came out because Rocky cut some of his verse off the end.

How would you rank the verses for the whole song? I'm always interested in people's opinions on that

    I'd go

    1. KRIT
    2. Kendrick
    3. Rocky
    4. Danny
    5. Joey
    6. Yelawolf
    7. Bronson

And for the record I'd rank the rappers in terms of how much I like them in general as

    1. Kendrick
    2. Danny
    3. Rocky
    4. Joey
    5. KRIT
    6. Bronson
    7. Yelawolf

Man I used to think Bronson was the chosen one. Talk about dissapointing careers.

I actually really love everything Bronson made up through Mr. Wonderful but starting with Blue Chips 7000 he's been pretty disappointing

I mean it was all good I guess but most of what he puts out just sounds little too lackluster to me. His output isn’t nearly as good as he is a rapper. That’s just me. My favorite Action Bronson project is also the album with Statik, which appears to be an unpopular opinion, so maybe I’m an outlier anyway.

I still love Bronson, but he hasn't done anything truly great since the first two Blue Chips and Dr Lecter. Rare Chandeliers came close to being a classic, though.

Love Fuck, That's Delicious and his other show, though. They both coincide with his output being not as good, though.

  14. PauLo

    On the track, I'd go...

    Danny
    Kendrick
    Bronson
    KRIT
    Rocky
    Joey
    Yela

In terms of who I enjoy most...

    Bronson/Danny
    Kendrick
    Rocky
    KRIT
    Joey

Not including Yela because I don't enjoy him at all haha

Does Yelawolf actually have fans? I've always assumed he attracts that same "I don't like rap but..." Crowd that Eminem and MGK attract but I've never actually known anyone that likes him lol

I think he does, yeah, especially among people. But I mean there’s a lot of open rap fans that like them too, they just like certain kinds of rap. They like Hopsin and Tech Nine too, for example.

Also not saying that those people are Eminem's entire fanbase, but he does attract that sort of person

Yeah Bronson fell off which sucks. Maybe he'll drop another classic. BC7000 not being entirely Party Supplies sucked too

Yeah, but he’s also so incredibly huge that it comes with the territory. He transcends genres, so he has fans that don’t otherwise listen to rap, but not necessarily because they specifically dislike rap or anything like that. Of course the “I don’t like rap except...” also exist.

Though Yelawolf plays weirdly big tours over here

Really digging this, have never really checked for Nudy before outside of 21 features. What else is worth hearing?

  23. I used to like Yela before he dropped his first album. The Hard White Remix used to get a lot of play on my ipod. I think he said some dumb, ignorant shit in regards to people wanting to tear down confederate statues though so bleh.

Slimeball 3 is the only other full project I’ve heard. It’s solid but this is way better imo.

    2. Kendrick
    3. Danny Brown
    4. Rocky
    5. Joey
