I listened to Dex prior to seeing that video. You're not missing out on anything. Fuck that guy.

 

Never even heard of this Dex guy before this. Now I just know him as that dude that apparently raps and is a woman beating piece of shit.

 

Dex had been gaining traction for a while, he'd been highlighted by complex and stuff a few times. Seems like this could put a halt to that.

Anyone here into Sketpa? I can't stop listening. He goes hard yet his flow is absolutely on point and he creates some brilliant melodies. Questionable music videos though.

skepta is so good. dont think konichiwa should've gotten the mercury prize BUT i think its huge for grime that it did and im happy about it even though i would've taken 1975, bowie, radiohead, and anhoni over it.

 

skepta is goat. kano/anohni/bowie all put out excellent albums, but konnichiwa definitely deserved to win it imo.

 

I wouldn't have chosen any of them really even though I like several of them, but out of the choices, it had to be 1975 or Skepta for me.
