What do you recommend next if Dark Horse was my introduction to him?

 

Probably Marci Beaucoup. There are a lot of great features on that one. He's pretty consistent across all his projects, though.

I was just reminded about how someone made a meme of the migos doing the national anthem and then they turned that into a song off culture II and what an amazing thing.

 

Unsurprisingly, the new MIKE is great.

 

I’m really not a fan of new school rap names. I know it’s lame of me but I literally would have never checked out a rapper named MIKE 15 year ago lol

 

I love the simplicity of it. I know what you mean about names, though. It's why I barely listen to anyone with Lil' in their name, most of them are rubbish with only a select few that aren't haha. Like you, I know it's lame, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

MIKE is dumb as a stage name because it's such a common name. Everyone knows at least one Mike, it's just confusing

 

When I release my rap album I'm going by the stage name JAKE

Mike, as bad as it is, would be even better than MIKE lol

 

being a fan of emo music has made me immune to caring about "bad" artists name

The world is a beautiful place and Brockhampton both have 100 members so they are the same thing

 

+ the new 21 Savage album. Surprisingly huge day for the end of the year.

 

I made a giant list of songs I enjoyed from this year and I was reminded of this song and how I loved it when it first came out. That and the Valee songs seemed to be sleepers on my list.

 

I was gonna post this song as a favorite from this year, but it actually dropped in December of 2017.

Still a jam though...
