Probably old heads. We ruin everything. Except rap. Young heads ruin that... ;)

What's the cut-off for young and old though? Where's the line so I know where to put myself? Hahaha

I mentioned this dude a couple of pages back. Not a fan on Peep, but the track he’s on on this (ZZZ) is great and his feature is kinda nice

I'm 33...started listening (or taking it seriously) to hip hop around 9 or 10 years-old. Honestly haven't been into much newer hip hop in years.

Top 10 is hard and this is not in any order but:

    Nas - Stillmatic
DMX - It's Dark and Hell is Hot (I don't even like DMX but this album is incredible)
    Kanye- Dark Twisted Fantasy
    Lupe - Food & Liquor
    Eminem - Eminem Show
Royce da 5'9" - Death is Certain
    Nas - God's Son
    Jay Z - Black Album
    Bone Thugs - Eternal
    Kendrick - Section.80

    * ANYTHING NO LIMIT (I own like, 60 No Limit albums)

oh my god, I'm back on my bullshit Prestigious

Most of what I enjoy is either 90s or recent. Don't think I'd put anything from the 00s in my top 20.

The 2000’s was a very weird time for this genre looking back

    hey you lil piss baby

Got into the genre in mid-late 00s with lots of Ye, Wayne, and T.I. but my top 10 would almost definitely all be from 2010 onward.

Like I said, I embrace the new school of hip hop. I'm 35 and love all the Lil/Young/Soundcloud/trap stuff just like everyone else.

That being said, these top 10 lists are making me feel super old. The average album on these lists is like 5-10 years old.

im 26. i grew up loving a lot of radio rap but didn't really dive into the genre until around 09-10. anyway, here's my favorites. not concerned with what the 'right' list is or the fact that some of these albums havent been out for more than a couple years, which seems to bother some people when it comes to favorites lists for some reason. this is in no order by the way

kanye west's discog minus ye, obviously
    jay-z - the black album
lil wayne - tha carter II and III, also da drought 3 obviously
    danny brown - xxx
kevin gates - luca brasi story
freddie gibbs - shadow of a doubt
    vince staples - summertime 06
    future - 56 nights
    drake - take care
big boi - sir lucious left foot
    earl sweatshirt - doris
    nelly - country grammar

honestly this barely scratches the surface of what i like and a narrow list of 10 albums can't even come close to defining the rap i love
