this usually happens with push backs that are last minute, can't expect to reach all the retailers

 

I'm extremely particular with music and this applies tenfold to hip hop and rap, so I'm looking for recommendations. I'm going to list a few of my favorite tracks below and if anyone knows a comparable artist, let me know. To be clear, I prefer more serious-sounding stuff with less production.

"The Takeover" - Jay Z
"NY State of Mind" - Nas

I generally hate Lil Wayne tracks, but often enjoy his feats on other tracks

And, in anticipation of jeers, yes, 99% of the rap I listen to is Nas (and 90% of that is just Illmatic on repeat)
