are you listening to the second UUGLY one? I quite enjoy it, but actually like the first one better

 

I love both but I was talking about the second one, which to me, goes further into exploring a lot of the styles he only hinted at on the first one, trying out a bunch of new things without losing its primary direction. I feel like nobody really knows about his shit and he is truly amazing.

This is so important. Every time the discussion about how few women in hip hop comes up, some dude always has to come in and say that women just “aren’t interested/motivated” or women’s voices are just better suited to R&B. There’s never enough discussion about how the industry and hip hop fans’ expectations push women out. Thanks for posting this.

What's everyone saying re: Czarface/MF Doom album? Is it mostly just Doom beats or is he actually rapping on it?

I really wish other rappers would start calling these shit fucks out. It doesn't help that people like XXX and 69 can do these horrible things and still get endorsements from their contemporaries

How he continues to be popular is beyond me.

Last week at work, Kayne was brought up and the girl I sit next to said "He's an asshole. I don't like him."

Within 2 days, she says "Have you heard XXXTentacion?" To which I responded "I've heard he assualted his pregnant girlfriend." and she said "Yeah, but whatever, his music is really awesome"

edit: BTW, this is a 25 year old woman with a 1 year old child
