DMX Sentenced to One Year in Prison For Tax Evasion

 

I've started watching The Defiant Ones. After I barely made it through the fake Jimmy/Dre phonecall, I turned it off when I saw Dre behind his MacBook, air drumming to a Nirvana song for the cameras.

 

I actually loved The Defiant Ones lol

 

There's probably a lot there but I can't handle stuff like that in documentaries haha

 

Defiant Ones is so good. I obviously went in for the Dre stuff, but all the Iovine stuff is super interesting too. Didn’t really know too much about him before hand.

Would definitely watch again.

Maybe give The Defiant Ones another chance. I totally get your criticisms and how they can take you out of it, but overall it was one of the best documentaries I saw last year.

 

The Defiant Ones was great. I could understand not liking it if you thought it'd be all about Dre, Hip-Hop, but it's also very Iovine heavy, which I didn't mind, because I'm very interested in his career and all the crazy success he's had.

 

Is anyone watching Rapture on Netflix? I'm kind of confused by it. Is each episode a totally different documentary? Or is it all one series?
