I manage this guy Romaro Franceswa. He is featured on the new Sango album and Sango did production on his new EP that's out tomorrow.

I saw him open for Danny Brown a while back. He definitely sounded good live but didn't really make a lasting impression on me. I hadn't heard of him at the time though to be fair

 

Cool. I'll probably wind up going to his show on Thursday regardless, because I REALLY like Punken, but I was just curious if he was a decent performer or not. Does he actually rap onstage or just spit a few words here and there over the vocal track?

I liked a lot of the recent Starra and Major Lazer stuff. Excited to check it out.

 

I low key love the Trippie Redd and Lil Xan songs. Yachty song is obviously a bop. The rest are cool too.

 

How is Juelz on that tour, just a few days ago I heard he was literally on the run after he fled from airport police because they wanted to arrest him for trying to check in a gun lmao

 

like the only song I didn't really care for was the triple redd song.

Lil Xan and Desiigner were probably my two favorites. I need more music in that style.

Can't say for sure but I think he actually rapped

 

From what I remember of Maxo Kream live, he raps but there's a backing track to pick up some of the slack like most rappers have. I probably would have enjoyed him more if he wasn't slotted inbetween Zelooperz and Danny Brown who have a distinct energy that he doesn't match. Love his tapes though.

 

Better have a backup than a backing track, backing tracks are lame no matter how many use them these days
