I posted the below in the Spotify thread, but feel it may get seen more here:

At about 12:15 a.m. I downloaded the new Prhyme 2 album. Turned my Spotify to offline this morning and listened to the first few songs while driving to work. I noticed I accidentally downloaded the clean version. So when I got into my office, I went to go 'undownload' the album and it was gone. It was no longer under my downloaded albums.

Any ideas how that happened or why?

 

Thats super weird. Maybe look under your saved albums. Could be there?

Also i didnt even realize snoop had an album out today. It a “gospel album” and has 32 tracks lol

 

I listened to one song of that gospel album and that was enough lol.

It's a shame because I thought Neva Left was good, but everything since has either been meh or a gospel album.

 

Isn't saved the same thing as downloaded? Normally when I download an album, it goes into my library. It was in my library this morning, played it on the way to work, went to go delete it at work and it was all of the sudden gone. Had to have been downloaded, because I played it while offline in the car.

 

Has the clean version been taken down from spotify?

 

That was my initial thought, because I downloaded it 15 minutes after it was released, and honestly, only saw one version. That's the version I downloaded. When I was offline and playing it, I realized in the car I downloaded the clean version and was like 'fuck this' haha and wanted to get the explicit version and to my surprised it was gone when I got in my office. But when I went to redownload it, there were two versions, the clean and the explicit.

Royce and 2 Chainz spitting Em's flows on this song ha. Had it playing in the background, so I wasn't paying too much attention, but PRhyme 2 is cool.

 

I have only heard one song from the Snoop album but I like it. I've always liked r&b-ish gospel (and gospel period I guess).

 

I'm still sad I never got that Kanye gospel sounding album.


Ultralight Beam was the ultimate tease.

 

Kanye arguably made enough gospel songs to put together a solid playlist

 

I've always loved this Snoop gospel-ish song
