I wasn't a big fan of Denzel Curry previously but Imperial is really good.

 

I've loved just about everything Curry has done. Imperial was great.

Also, liked the Flatbush and Payroll Giovanni tapes.

And Lil Big Pac too

That Burberry Perry album is some of the worst stuff I've heard from the genre in ages

Kweku Collins is dank tho

 

Radio and tv also have a habit of censoring words related to specific violent or drug related crimes, for instance fetty wap "679" gets "glock" censored when he says "glock in my rarri"

 

"broads" was the obviously bleeped one I noticed, but it was like honestly every 5 seconds too. Pure maddness

 

I never understood why a network would want to air a song that has to be edited that much. Seems like either a risk or just bad television.

Yeah it was fine but totally forgettable. Such a shame, because I was way excited.

 

I'm still very excited for a Dej album, hoping she saved all the best for that and put out the rest on the mixtape

phenomenal, a big chunk of the crowd wasnt familiar with him but he still got them riled up
