You've got me excited to listen. I haven't paid much attention to Snoop in a while, but I loved the throwback album cover on the new one.

 

Finally got around to listening to Payface. It rules.

 

Nice. I'll always give Snoop a fair listen, but until this album I haven't really been into a Snoop album since The Blue Carpet Treatment.

 

This is the best Snoop album in forever

I am the president of the separating art and artist club, but I'm not going out of my way to check out someone horrible that I haven't already heard.

 

I separate the artist from the art regularly, I mean I still listen to Tupac as well as many rappers that have not been silent about their criminal pasts, but it appears to me that this guy only has a buzz because of the controversy since his music is really forgettable, so I have no interest in checking out anything he does.

 

Yeah I mean I agree. I find it odd that he's being pushed as someone who is novel or unique (he's not), and that somehow justifies overlooking the heinous shit he's done

 

My students roll their eyes when I say I won't listen to him. They get outright ornery that I won't listen to Kodak.

 

I think Kodak's very talented but his last release wasn't nearly as good as LilBigPac (or whatever the name was) imo so meh
