From what I heard, neither aren't anything special. Swae has done much better hooks.

 

Every French Montana song that's good is good despite him imo

I can't stand him as a rapper

 

MC4 was great, bummer about how the release was botched so hard

 

I haven't listened to any of his mixtapes or albums but i just cant get past his voice.
Might give him a real chance another time.

 

French is not exactly Rakim but he can make the occasional "old fashioned", big banger, which is more than most can say

Freddie Gibbs album is great. I couldn't listen to kodak's new one anymore on account of the more recent assault allegations. Even though he has yet to be charged for the sexual assault charge, that was enough for me to write him off, which really says something because it's a great album.

 

I wish I liked the Freddie Gibbs album more. It doesn't touch his last two for me sadly.

 

I really like it. I'm glad it's not as long as Piñata, and SoaD. I love those albums, but I'm glad he put out just 8 solid tracks.
