I need to listen to the Gibbs album more, but I found it a bit disappointing after SOAD tbh.

 

Has the sexual battery charge on Kodak been dropped or something? I can't listen to him knowing that he's been charged with something like that.

What's the story with Gibbs, though? He was acquitted but was he legitimately wrongly accused or was it another fuckup with the court system?

Wrongly accused as far as I can tell the case was dropped immediately after charges were brought on him

 

i've stopped listening to him especially since there was that reddit post a while back before the charges even happened? if i know that extremely likely it was wrongly accused i can listen to him again, which would be great since i loved the last one and i've heard great things about this one

fuck kodak though, also sucks since the last tape was great

 

Don't know what actually happened from a legal standpoint, but according to lyrics in Gibb's new song "Crushed Glass" he claims that he was wrongfully accused and he "beat the charges"

 

Everything that I read basically said "There is no objective proof that he had sex with her" but nothing about the allegations of physical abuse that were also out there. Idk, I need to find out more I guess

 

Pretty sure Gibbs was only kept in custody because the whole thing went down and Austria and they did not want him to run basically. They then went on to investigate and never pressed charges because they didn't find anything, I think.

Gelato?

 

He has a newer one that just came out last week called Bulletproof. I think I like Gelato more, but I've only listened to Bulletproof once so far.

 

I thought Gelato was pretty uneven but some of the songs I really enjoy - I'm listening to Bulletproof rn

 

Gelato was the first thing I'd heard from him and I enjoyed it for the most part. Haven't really listened to much of his other stuff besides King of Memphis though. Anything in particular worth checking out?
