I’ve been looking forward to this but I’m about halfway in and I think this might have more acoustic guitar beats than I can take, haha. Horcrux is a banger though.

 

Haha yeah it’s very much of that vibe - more of a feature than a bug to me as it feels like an expansion on the songs I liked most from his last project, which largely didn’t stick with me. But certainly would not have been mad about sneaking a Georgetown or a You Don’t Know in there

 

Kendrick is on the new Clipse album. That beat sounds crazy too

Having five-year-old songs on there, particularly "WAP," is also a brutal choice

 

I mentioned in the other thread that WAP and Up are the last two tracks on the 23-track album, so it may end to being a bonus track scenario

But yes I hate the oversized hip hop album trend, it's just a chart tactic and nothing else, really diminishes artistic integrity of the album

I'm about to go full on am I wrong Skinner meme on some of those names, because fucking hell. And Ian being on there is the most obvious bit of rage bait from a mainstream publication i've seem in a while.

 

I'm officially old. I've heard OF two of those people but don't think I've heard ANY of their music.

 

I’ve heard the names of maybe 4 or them, but the only song that comes to mind is this:

It is a banger to be fair. I posted about it a couple months ago here. Gelo is one of the Ball brothers btw.

 

I have no idea who the Ball brothers are, but that is an entirely forgettable song.

 

I like the melody in the chorus but overall not great.
