Lol Meeks "War Pain" just got put on Spotify. Shit is amazing but weird timing, especially since he mentions Nicki in it

 

Random dumb question, but the levels on Chief Keef's new tape (probably downloaded from Datpiff) are all messed up. Some songs are SUPER loud, others super quite. Some have no bass, others hit too hard.

Is this just the recording or do I have a bad version?

that sucks. i've slept on him for the longest but decided to try out two zero one seven and wound up really digging it. just feels like some of the tracks would be super bangers if the production was just a little better.

I will. I've heard a few songs from him here and there, but this is the first full project I latched onto.

If I was an audio guy, I'd definitely remaster it myself though. I get that he's not necessarily gonna dump a lot of time/money into a mixtape, but it's a shame to have these songs sound like this.

I would say Paper Trail is his second best behind Trap Muzik. I do really like Top Back and Bankhead off King, though.
