that's a particularly cruel prank because that album probably does exist, been hearing about it for years

 

The Neptunes feud is heartbreaking, I hope it's not permanent (and that Chad gets the money he deserves)

idk how but I got into a Quasimoto vibe and it’s perfect for just relaxing

I don't see him going back to Quasimoto tbh. I'd love to have more, but I feel like he's moved on from that. Been nearly 20 years since brand new material from Madlib under the guise and he seems like he's enjoying his time making jazz with Karriem Riggins.

 

I might have to peep that jazz album.

on another side note I wish for the day they announce the captain murphy album comes to streaming. I just love these producers side projects.

it’s a flying lotus/quasimoto type of day

 

They have two as Jahari Massamba Unit. Both are very good. Maybe more jazz funk with a kind of hip hop feel to it without it being overtly hip hop.

 

This Roc Marciano album is really good.

 

been listening to a lot of Smino recently. Father Son Holy Smoke is such a good song and song title lmao

 

Listened to De La Soul- Buhloone Mindstate and Blu/Madlib- Bad Neighbor for the first time today. Good stuff
