Yeah, Konnichiwa is a ridiculously good album. The run from Man, Shutdown and That’s Not Me is some of the best grime of all time.

I prefer The Sun’s Tirade but that’s because it’s one of my favorite rap albums of the 2010’s. All his shit is perfection. Need to do a discog run again soon.

 

Isaiah is incredible, and I love that he doesn't flood the market and takes his time on his releases (although that's also a byproduct of being on TDE apparently)

Good lil EP, that. Gave it and their last album another listen last week and the album was better than I remembered.

They featured on one of the best songs off Fielded's last album too...

 

They are doing something original while also striking on something that feels vaguely familiar. Could be the duo aspect. It’s also giving cloud rap vibes but more mature

 

Funny, I was just listening to Blank Face the other week and posted about it in here. Looks like we’re getting a new Schoolboy Q album on March 1st. Title is Blue Lips. Hoping this is a return to form after how bad Crash Talk was.
