revisiting this teezo touchdown album bc of the deluxe version and it really bumps. I liked it when it first dropped but now I'm seeing how good it really is

The new 21 Savage is actually really fucking good. His best and most mature album for sure.

Ok so follow me here, and sorry if you know all this, most of it surprised me.

Do you remember the album by The Bullitts that had Jay Electronica, Mos Def, Lucy Liu and others, was kinda like a musical story thing?

I was remembering it so I looked them up. First, it turns out it's one person and he actually has moved on to directing and writing movies, like The Book of Clarence.. and The Harder They Fall....

Including this new soundtrack out today which is pretty cool, he's the lead artist for the soundtrack for him movie

So anyway, this was all news to me.

    Plus, he's Seal's brother

Never heard of the guy but a ten minute JayZ + D’Angelo track has my interest

production on new Boldy is really great, a good follow-up to Fair Exchange No Robbery. the rapping feels a bit phoned in though, I don't know. maybe was expecting more intense stuff what with the cover art and all. think I heard a dodgy line about the pandemic in there too lol

I didn't notice any drop-off in quality, bars-wise. He sounds good, happy to have him back.

  18. Not to be that person but he dropped an f-slur on FENR and ever since then I'm just less excited about his stuff

The Drake discussion is a whole can of worms because of all the details, but I like the last part a lot
