used to listen to Milo back in like 2015 and I've heard y'all talk about Ferreira the last few years and just never made the connection lol. guess I know what I'm listening to today

I didn’t actually wind up being very into that G’s Us tape, but love everything else he’s done under the Ferreira moniker

 

I'm listening to the first Hitler Wears Hermes right now, holy shit Westside sounded different a decade ago. his voice is so relaxed and he's like... actually coherent. not sure if I like it or not

 

in the most random duo of groups I’ve been listening to lately.

Was in the mood to revisit Thug’s Barter 6 today. A masterpiece that only got better over the years. Man, what a time for rap. I really thought then that he was the genre’s biggest innovator and paving new paths. It sucks how things soon changed, how he collabed with Chris Brown, how he reverted his entire sound and musical identity after all the stupid masculinity critiques. It sucks because I feel he really had that “it” factor for a few years. And now he’s in prison and his last album did absolutely nothing for me.

 

I really liked the last album, hell I like most of his discography. Very disappointing how things turned out because I definitely agree that Thug is one of the most "special" hip hop artists of the last decade or two.

 

2nd time this has been pushed I believe

 

Does the album have a release date? Would not surprise me if the dude was planning a collaborative tour with Ye and Ty or something. They're pals.

 

there’s been rumors it was going to drop in a few weeks but nothing about carti is ever set in stone.

 

absolutely want to see that but it also looks goofy as hell haha
