Whenever an artist says they are releasing multiple albums in a year I literally never believe them

 

Recently checked out VV and Born Like This and both are great

 

Not a fan of the mixing on Born Like This

 

not a fan of Born Like This in general. Gazillion Ear is sick but it's all downhill from there, and that one homophobic song sucks so much

 

This album is really good

 

Vaudeville Villain is good, solid DOOM rapping over dark, interesting beats. It's little one-note as far as DOOM goes, but still great comparatively. Still think MM.. FOOD is his best work. That record is so bright sounding and playful. it's iconic.

 

I could live without the like 15 minutes of MM FOOD that's just samples, everything else is so good. exact same problem I have with DANGERDOOM the skits are insufferable lol

for my money VV's his most consistent and lyrical best. there's no wrong answers though

 

Agreed the skits on DANGERDOOM are insufferable, but I think the samples are integral to MM.. FOOD's identity lol just awesome, unwieldy work on display. VV is a great mood record though

hive mind was good but ego death was great for me but I’m still excited for more

not sure what my fav from DOOM is. it's always changing. but king geedorah has always felt underrated to me. just unbelievable beats and concept on that record.

it's might be hacky, but this shit has been stuck in my head for days lol and it"s relevant because the Internet seems to think it's genuinely someone in the industry based on how good the production and flows are. There are a dozen-plus videos making up a complete story. It's nuts.

 

that JID freestyle is, as usual just blatantly phenomenal. he's the best doing it right now, so good on that Conductor beat

29 freestyle dropped before Forever and he's hinting at new music on IG so I'm living for it

 

His last album was one of the most interesting hip hop albums I've heard in the last few years, not entirely great or consistent, but really interesting and when he hits he really hits

 

it's my favourite of the past five years, he has a classic in him with a little more focus
