this was a godawful year for rap. I can't say I even love all ten of these, but they're the ones that made the strongest impressions. i definitely can't rank them bc I still need to spend more time with some of them.

    Valee - Virtuoso
tobi lou- Perish Blue (Fall Tour)
    Mick Jenkins - The Patience
Theophilus London - TL (this was removed from streaming after a week and now it's nowhere to be found online)
    Young Fathers - Heavy Heavy
    Danny Brown - Quaranta
Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA - Scaring the Hoes
Lil Uzi Vert - Pink Tape
    Genesis Owusu – Struggler
Smoke DZA and Flying Lotus - Flying Objects

I used to be a big time Lil Dicky hater, thought Dave looked dumb as hell, but then I started seeing really positive things about the show. Turns out it's good and even GREAT very often. Some of the music from the show is so damn good. Interesting fellow
