watched all of Hip Hop Evolution last night since I was told it was on Netflix.

That was a pretty cool thing to learn more about the history of hip hop. It was also cool seeing Shad do all the narrating. Just combining that and The Rap Yearbook made me feel like I learned a lot lately.

lol I mean it's huge for Drake to get to work with the goat but it could be huge for Thug to get more people to listen to his music and in turn buy his music.

 

Those shows are gonna make more money than people buying his music tho, that's basically writing a big check

Can't Stop Won't Stop

I can recommend this book. It's by far the most complete and detailed history of Hip Hop I have seen.

 

i like it better than bad and boujee tbh

 

I think this one better just because we got a Takeoff verse.

Migos hook game has been great on these past two songs.

 

I just found out Gavlyn released an album with DJ Hoppa this year. It's about what you'd expect and pretty good. She also released an EP with Blimes Brixton, on which the production could be described as somewhat left of center Trap I guess, which is different for her.
