I listened to this Korean hip hop act a while back. Thought it was kinda decent, but forgot about it. Not long after, I saw it was one of the most listened to artists on last.fm. Checked out why. He’s a member of BTS

I got three songs into it before I had enough

It does not sound like a typical Gunna album at all, which is understandable all things considered. But I’m not sure how I feel about it.

 

From what I understand Gunna surprise dropped the album and now Young Thug(s's Twitter account) and a ton of other huge people like Metro, 21 Savage, Future and Chance are all posting a QR code linking to a countdown to Friday? Seems like they're all intentionally trying to spite him/sabotage his release

 

Rolling Stone have really outdone themselves this time, they really managed to drop the bar even lower

The Gunna album is easily one of the best hip hop albums this year.

 

maybe I bailed a bit too early but it’s just hard for me to see him carrying a whole album by himself

 

I was shocked at how good it was by himself.

 

I gave the first 5 tracks a brief skim… I’m going full old person, not just old head about this… but I could barely tell the difference between tracks.

 

I finally heard this song today and man J Cole can really sometimes deliver an amazing verse

 

He has a future this J. Cole kid

 

this one too usually feature J Cole always delivers

 

I only ever see rap journalists shitting on that song which to me makes them just look out of touch tbh
