Has anyone checked out that new Yasiin Bey/Ferrari Sheppard project December 99th yet? I've been sick the last day and haven't able to listen.

 

Only on Tidal so I haven't sought it out but I'm interested if only because of Ferrari's involvement

I think it's more than 7 by now.

I've been a fan of Rap from Houston since the mid 00s (the boom years) and it's a shame it has become more slept on again, but often it is definitly quantity over consistency.

 

Lmao Jesus christ. Rap was my primary listen (or 1a at least) for years, kind fell out with it last year - no real reason, just fatigue..... Good to know he's still at it...... but 7 in a week bruh? Lil B, & Charles Hamilton eat your hearts out lol.

Well maybe not CH, cus there would be days he'd drop 3-4+ at a time lmao.

 

I love the Chance / Jeremih tape. Nice unexpected release. The Jackson 5 interpolation is amazing.

 

The one really enjoyable track on the Chance/Jeremih tape is marred by casual homophobia. Rest of the tape is pretty whatever. Kind of shocked people like it so much.

Lud Foe says "a n***a diss on me, he a homo" on I Shoulda Left You.

 

Pretty unfortunate and wouldnt condone it in anyway, but seemed like a small enough instance for me to ignore that line and still enjoy the experience. The tape overall is pretty great tho and def worth a listen
