The way a lot of critics write about Lil Yachty is hilarious, they're frantically trying to come up with some way to rationalize the "weird" thing teenagers are listening to

 

He's not even that weird imo, he's got an okay ear for melodies in his hooks but his verses are so clumsy and sloppy and it's not as endearing as say lil b

 

Yeah this line in particular always stands out to me as extremely awkward

"Cuz in high school all I cared bout was hoes well, maybe that shit was my interest"

Like damn that shit is so redundant. I do think he has potential though.

 

They keep playing that new raury song never alone at work and this song is such a waste of his potential. Can't believe this is the same guy on the noname song

 

Raury has always sucked imo

 

Raury was good with Noname and SBTRKT and everything else I've heard can go to the bin. Plus, his hat is bad.

 

"Superfly" is a solid track

 

His noname verse is good enough and the hook of never alone is catchy but damn is his rapping pretty atrocious

 

Superfly and God's Whisper are good

 

This is amazing.

 

I like Raury's music from what I've heard but he's already incredibly pretentious for his age

I don't think I've liked a Raury song, but I thought he had potential. I like his name a lot and he seems like a chill guy.
