An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Six Degrees is one of the best of that decade

Ghostface put out some great stuff in the mid 10's. The collabs with BBNG and Adrian Younge are all really good.

  5. 5 to the Eye with Stars (vinyl)(pre order)

R.A.P. Ferreira’s 5 To The Eye With Stars is being pressed to vinyl. His records are usually very tough to get but this looks like it might be more of an open pre-order as it’s been available all day. Sorry I’d post in the vinyl thread but hip hop related posts generally fall on deaf ears there lol

    Still A Threat Prestigious

I’ve been watching the new French Netflix show Reign Supreme and I highly recommend it. It’s set in the early 80s and focuses on a number of teenagers and young adults from Paris that, in their own ways, are discovering Hip Hop culture (which was very new in France at the time). It’s also about their lives aside from that of course. It’s very good.

EDIT: It’s also partly (mostly?) based on true events.

I’m starting to make my best of 2022 albums so I’m just going to start posting my thoughts on all the albums I check out.

I give this one a 6/10. I think my problem is the length a little long since it’s a trap album and it tends to get repetitive.

favorite songs on it are: pushin p, p power, mop and then die alone.

The Metro album is great. I loved his last one too, he puts a ton of effort into his solo stuff, they really feel like HIS albums and not just compilations of tracks that artists didn't use that they gave him like most producer albums. Highly recommend if you like cinematic sounding trap

I still don't believe it, I feel like I'm being punked. I believe literally every other artist on that list, but not him

I agree with everything that he puts his effort into the rollout and the album. I think the album is a good trap album and the way he blends the songs together is great.

i just wish he started to branch out more for his sound. Feel the Fiyahhh was an instant hit for me because of a new sound and great features so I love to explore new sounds and features.
