I honestly only know the songs with features and it's because of the features. Actually, I know Rap God, so aside from that I guess

Wait... is that a best of? Honestly just thought it was another album with another list of features that he would have shit all over in his early career.

Saying that, I don't think I could name a single Em song he's released since 2004.

It still blows my mind that he has a song with Ed fucking Sheeran. That's like him having a song with Moby in 2003.

You must have heard Rap God. It’s terrible.

Also Love The Way You Lie, that was huge, and also terrible.

Sort of, or “an album with rappers”, if I understood it right (never listened to it).

He actually also used to be a Grime rapper lol

Just gave Rap God a listen. Can’t tell if I know it or whether is just sounds like every other wannabe Harlem Shake beat.

Also gave Love The Way You Lie a listen. I’ve forgotten what it sounds like already and only listened to it 30 seconds ago.

Yeah, I mean I don't hide the fact that I do listen to his stuff pretty often and enjoy it overall, even half that album, but I totally understand why others don't vibe with it. But yes, as you say, he's at least a real fan of the genre and has been for a while, rather than just using it for personal gain or adding rappers to his tracks just for streams or whatever

I’ve said it before (although not necessarily to you I don’t think) and I’ll say it again, I’m very good at avoiding most popular music haha. I nearly always have headphones in. I haven’t listened to the radio since 2005. I don’t listen to playlists and I’m kind of an introvert, so don’t really go out anywhere where I’d hear it. Plus I was very “no thank you” when it came to Eminem at the time.
