Yeah I had a Secondhand Serenade song come on shuffle the other day and I realized it's probably best for me not to revisit Dashboard Confessional haha. I'll let nostalgia be nostalgia. Cause best case scenario, like Papa Roach, it does absolutely nothing for me anymore. Worst case, like Sum 41, it still fucking RIPS.

 

Also I was a Dashboard fanatic. I begged my parents to let me watch the debut of his Unplugged set on MTV2 on the big family tv. I listened to Places You Have Come To Fear The Most on repeat most days and I used to go into the depths of MP3.com to find other "acoustic" artists for the next Dashboard. I was all in. It was Dashboard and, a bit later, Saves the Day that changed my life. Wouldn't be shit posting on a music website at 32 without 14 year old mike getting into dashboard.

I still have absolutely no fucking idea how I ended up here. I was spending a LOT of time on TalkNaruto.com and then all of a sudden I'm majinsharingan and now I'm 24 and live is fleeting.

 

Also, look at how fucking 2002 this video is. The number of polo's, the outfits. My god, this is one of the first videos where I was like "holy shit, I am old." The amount of Abercrombie and Fitch is incredible.

Inherently, nothing. But they were pretty much the ubiquitous piece of clothing for kids in my high school. Like, there were weeks where I wore nothing but polo shirts, I had so many. I don't see a lot of polo shirts these days.
