Haha oh it’s just my associates degree. “Associate in arts” it’s just the general studies portion poor people complete at community college before going to a state school for the bachelors

I was one class away from getting an AA in psychology before I transferred but I said nahhh. Would have been good for my dog bit tho

 

Isn't everyone's first 2 years just an "AA"? It's not like, "Associates in arts degree in Psychology" or say, "Associates of Arts Degree in Rocket Surgery"...

I could be misremembering. Maybe it wasn’t that I’d have an AA in psych, but one more psych class and I would have had an AA. You don’t need one to transfer tho

I thought so as well. There are AS degrees tho and also you can declare a major before getting your AA so idk it’s kinda confusing.

So I’ve just been focusing on getting my gen studies out of the way mostly. A while ago I decided to declare Communications and I have told people that’s my major but I never really bought in, or knew what I wanted to do with it.

I have been going really back and forth and had a hell of a year contemplating everything and basically came to the conclusion that I want to work for a nonprofit or a lobbying company or a politician/political organization..something along those lines. I also recently came to the conclusion that I’d like to work with the Deaf and be a certified interpreter as well.

When applying to USF I discovered the Comminications concentration Public Advocacy and it’s like it was perfectly made for my desires and I’m really excited about it!
